CALORIE CONTENT OF YOUR FAVORITE NIGERIAN DISHES

* A slice of fried plantain --68 calories

*Irish potato---
128 calories in one small to medium size  potato
161 calories in one average medium size potato
278 calories in one medium to large size  potato

* Moi moi------These are the calories in moi moi using the following ingredients:

Beans White 1/2 cup (peak evaporated milk cup): 189 calories
1/5 teaspoon of curry powder: 1 calorie

* Salt, 1 tbsp: 0 calories

* Groundnut Oil, 1/2 tbsp: 60 calories

* Onions (1/4 slice): 16 calories

* Crayfish, 1 oz

I doubt if anyone eats that small a serving, so if for instance you are taking 2 milk-tin size of pounded yam, already 800 calories, by the time you combine your soup.....
