HARMFUL CHEMICALS TO LOOK OUT FOR IN THAT CREAM YOU BUY

Hydroquinone

Hydroquinone is a form of skin-bleaching. It is known to have cancer risks and was banned in France. Hydroquinone also is used to develop photographs.

Mercury

Mercury is active in skin bleaching creams and can damage the brain.
When applied onto the skin, mercury can cause skin rashes, discoloration, and scarring, and can reduce your skin’s ability to resist infection. When ingested, or when used onto the skin so many times that it seeps into your internal system, mercury can cause problems to the brain, nervous system, and kidneys.
